Honeysuckle, from Boston, will be performing two shows on Saturday, December 9. An afternoon performance will be held at The Sparkle Barn from 3 pm to 5 pm. The evening performance of this Folky Bluegrass group, will take place at The Chaffee Arts Center on Route 7 in Rutland.
Comprised of Holly McGarry, Benjamin Burns, and Chris Bloniarz, the trio can frequently be found performing in the Boston area and surrounding cities in the Northeast, playing alongside bands like Boy & Bear, Shook Twins, John Craigie, Grey Season, and others.
In 2015, Honeysuckle performed at Newport Folk Festival, was chosen as a Converse Rubber Tracks artist, and was nominated for Best Folk Artist of the Year, and Best Americana Artist of the Year at the annual Boston Music Awards. In 2016 the group played Lollapalooza festival on the Pepsi Stage as well as CMJ in New York City.
As a recipient of Club Passim’s Iguana Music Grant, Honeysuckle recently released a new full-length album on March 24th to a sold-out audience at Club Passim. The band also has a previously released EP, “Arrows,” as well as various live albums.
Tickets for Honeysuckle at Chaffee Arts Center are $7.50 at the door and the show starts at 7PM. For Honeysuckle at The Sparkle Barn at 3 pm, RSVP for $5 tickets. These events are for all ages.

Simply Said by Priscilla was born in 2005. In 2013 she was featured on WCAX Made in Vermont (Channel 3 News). She started doing sip and paints when the Shelburne Museum called to ask if she'd be interested in teaching a painting class on sap buckets. Priscilla sources her sap buckets from local Vermont sugaring folks that are either no longer tapping trees or have updated to the new sophisticated way of maple sugaring. All of the sap buckets are recycled and then up-cycled by creative enthusiasts like you!

Rutland musician George Nostrand's newest project, the band Miss Guided Angels, will release a single and music video for the song "Lost-n-Found." The song, written by George Nostrand also features Killington's Joey Leone on lead guitar, Shrewsbury's Marcos Levy on keys, Jesse Hongisto on bass and Bob Campbell on percussion with Lisa Gardner and Phil Henry singing backup vocals. The song and video were recorded by Phil Henry. Doors at 7 p.m. Music at 8 p.m. and the video will be shown at aprox. 8:45 p.m.
