Explore the history of use, learn what an essential oil is, methods of extraction, and how to incorporate therapeutic aroma into your day. You'll experience 12 essential oils and become acquainted with their benefits before creating a custom body oil to take home!

Taking an aromatherapy class on a whim in 1995 set the course for Holly’s spa career. Discovering a deep appreciation for essential oils effects on mind and body; she left the corporate world to pursue a Certification in Aromatherapy and Reiki (Level II), became a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, and received license in Esthetics in both New York and Vermont.
Holly began her professional association with pioneer plant-derived beauty and wellness company AVEDA in 2002 as a Massage Therapist. Soon she began educating for them as a Spa Body Pure-fessional. Here she developed her skills to deliver pertinent information in a manner that was engaging, good-humored, and memorable. In 2010, after trying on different roles in the spa industry, she became a full-time Esthetics Instructor at AVEDA Institute SoHo. After 5 years there, she left to become Lead Esthetics Instructor at New York Institute of Beauty writing curriculum and training new educators.
In 2017 she took a lifestyle changing leap-of-faith, moving from NYC to Bennington, Vermont. With a “journey-woman” approach to continue doing what she loves, you can find her performing massage and facials at Green Mountain Oasis operating as Wildflower Skin & Body, teaching Aroma and Wellness workshops in both NY and VT, and performing services at the Forbes 4-star rated Spa at The Woodstock Inn and Resort.
